The Callune, also known as false heather from the Calluna family is the only common heather species and comes from the Greek word kallyno ‘to sweep’; because the plant was used to make brooms. Recommended for chronic fatigue it is also effective for those suffering from kidney disorders. It has a unique jelly texture and crystallises into large crystals.
