Production gelée royale

Bees that are 6 to 12 days old secrete Royal jelly from their saliva or hypopharynx glands.

Males are fed for around 34 to 36 hours with a Royal Jelly that is adapted to their needs.

Workers are fed for around 72 hours during their larvae stage with worker Royal Jelly.

Queens are fed from the beginning of their larvae stage to the moment their cells are capped to ensure a sufficient supply until their birth.

Queens are also fed Royal jelly during their life cycle in the hive to ensure healthy ovaries that will continue to produce ovum that, once fertilized, will in turn give birth to bees.
